Traveling to Kakadu National Park

We were up and moving fairly early this morning to take two flights to end-up in Darwin in northern Australia. It was magical to get off of the plane into tropic conditions. I was very pleased to put away my pants for a while. We then had a three hour coach ride to our hotel in Kakadu National Park where we had dinner and then had the evening free.

AAAAAAAAAACCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKK!
Mr. Heiden, please tell me you aren't running around Australia without your pants as stated in the blog! There are rules about things like that, especially for teachers! We celebrated Grandpa's birthday today (7/9)and your mom FORGOT!!! I am certain that since she talked thru the viewing of the Great War DVD AND forgot the birthday, that she is most definitely OUT of the WILL. Oh -- I haven't forgiven you for eating 'roo!!! Love, Aunt Nancy

I brought shorts as well, but only one pair of casual pants and one pair of dress pants. So, I was glad to wear something different. And, yes, they do frown upon people not wearing pants in Australia.
