Attempted Whale Watching
This morning we got an early start so we could stop by Logan’s Beach in Warrnambool Bay to try to see some southern right whales. There is a whale nursery there that currently has some whales staying there, but we didn’t see them. The view was fantastic anyway, so it was still worth it. Then, we had a two hour and forty minute drive to Ballarat.

The rocks were cool in the picture. And when you said you saw the London Bridge did you actually go to it? Too bad you didn't see any whales, it would be cool if you did. I hope you're having a good time in Austrailia.
No whales? Hope we have better luck in Alaska. Beautiful scenery!
Mr. Heiden,
Hi! I've been reading the blog, but haven't posted any comments. So here's a question. Do they have the 4th of July in Australia?(Wink -wink -- it's a trick question!) Sounds like you're having a great time. Your schedule would leave me pooped. Whoops. There I go again!! Love, Aunt Nancy
Mark, please put a baby koala in your pcoket and bring it home with you. I have wanted one for a long time. You know I would be a good koala mommy.
Linda has a big backyard. I think she could use a kangaroo in addition to a koala. Audrey might not start a fight with a 'roo! Then again, the "Fat One" is brave!
Mr. Heiden --- I'm sorry that your family's comments are making us look like idiots. I'd like a koala, too, and I would be a much better mother than Linda. I have a fenced yard, and an enclosed pen. Little Dog would love a 'roo to chase around the backyard, too. Hurry home soon so you can watch Grandpa's 2 1/2 hour video about the Great War. Love, Aunt Nancy
Mr. Heiden, your family is just enjoying some humor. There haven't been many comments on the blog as your friend Greg noted. So consider the family "humorists," not "idiots." By the way only one one of the two DVDs about the Great War worked. Maybe by the time you get home, both will be ready for your viewing.
I was wondering when the outrigger shirt will be seen again
Mr. Heiden where are you? Have you been eaten by a whale or stomped by a 'roo? I keep posting comments and getting no answers. I may have to say something bad if you don't answer soon!!! You mother appears to have developed a neurological condition, as she keeps sending double comments and writing double words words. Well, I'll be waiting for your answer! Love, Aunt Nancy
I meant "your" mother. Idiocy strikes again!!! AACCKKK!!
Okay, so I typed the word "one" twice. Sometimes I proof too quickly. Maybe we need Spell Check on the blog!
Sara is getting concerned about you. She said that you seemed to post something almost everyday and now we haven't had anything to read in awhile. I told her that you were probably spending some time in the trees with the Koalas and couldn't get to your computer. She was okay with that! I just think you must be very busy and having an exceptional time. Looking forward to the next update. (By the way...she is soooooo excited, she gets Abe & John on Monday. I'm sure you will get an update at some point on how they are doing.)
What is the outrigger shirt as mentioned by "anonymous?"
Sara: We didn't actually go out there. I guess when it broke-off years ago there were people stranded out there for a while. Now you can't get out to it.
CTB: The outrigger shirt will show up again soon as the weather has gotten warmer.....
I was away from an internet connection for a while. I am now trying to get everything uploaded from Cairns.
