I am a third grade gifted and talented teacher at Brooks School Elementary (Hamilton Southeastern Schools) in Fishers, Indiana. I was fortunate to have been chosen to receive a Fulbright-Hays Seminars Abroad scholarship to travel and study the ancient, delicate, and unique environment in Australia from June 14th - July 15th of 2006. This blog will be updated regularly for my students, family, colleagues, and friends during my trip.
When we arrived in Ballarat we were all amazed to see our accommodations for the evening at Craig’s Royal Hotel. This is a very old hotel that has been renovated to provide absolutely beautiful rooms. Every room is different, but each had a very warm feeling with beautiful beds, wardrobes, and bathrooms.
