Mao’s Chef

For dinner this evening we had the privilege of having Mao Zedong’s former chef cook for us at the Post-Mao Café. We had a massive dinner with some of the local Fulbright Scholars in the area. The food kept coming for something like 3 hours before the evening was over. It was good food, but after that long, I was ready to head for home.

Mr. Heiden's Mom-

I thought I would post something on here b/c I felt sorry for you being the only posting for the last few entries!

Mark-

Chairman Mao's chef must have been 900 years old! Did you get to meet him/her? What were some of Mao's favorites?

We're going to Indiana for the 4th this afternoon, coming back to the ATL on Tuesday, July 4. I know you're worried about my schedule...wanted to keep you fully informed. (Didn't want to be like Clint).

Hi Greg!
Thank you for thinking of me! It has been rather lonely............
I think this is the first blog response I have received!
Enjoy your time in Indiana. Glad to hear you and Angie are doing well. Hope to see you at Clint and Dana's wedding.

Hi Mr. Heiden,

We like those wonderful pictures you posted, thank you for sharing them.

Did you meet Chairman Mao's chef? What were your favorite dishes? Did you use chopsticks to eat?
